Posted on 04:23, June 4th, 2009 by admin- An Air France plane carrying 228 people from Brazil to France has vanished over the Atlantic after flying into turbulence, airline officials say.
- The Airbus sent an automatic message at 0214 GMT, four hours after leaving Rio de Janeiro, reporting a short circuit. It may have been damaged by lightning.
- Air France flight AF447 from Rio de Janeiro to Paris went down with 228 people aboard. Debris from the Airbus SAS A330-200 aircraft was found about 650 kilometers (405 miles) northeast of Brazil’s Fernando de Noronha island. Read the rest of this entry »
